The extent of Jordanian citizens satisfaction about government’s procedures to face Corona during year 2020

Abstract

 

This paper aims to identify the extent of Jordanian citizens ’satisfaction with the government’s measures to confront Corona in the year 2020. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed to 368 respondents. A total of 136 responses were collected. Missing values and outliers were removed. This has resulted in 98 complete and usable responses. The data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25.0. The results of the study indicated that government measures worked to limit the Corona pandemic, and the Jordanian government was among the first in the world to confront the pandemic.  Citizens’ satisfaction was moderate with the measures applied. While this paper provides important information about the nature of the decisions taken by the Jordanian government to confront the crisis of the spread of the Coronavirus, as well as the positive repercussions of the method of confronting the crisis of the spread of the Coronavirus on citizens, as well as the testimony of international bodies and organizations of the Jordanian government to the crisis in a way that exceeds many great countries in the world. The study could benefit decision-makers and policy-makers in Arab countries to face crises and disasters.
