The Mediating Effective of Commitment on the Relationship between Job Satisfaction, Organizational Culture and Turnover Intention

Abstract

This study examines the effect of job satisfaction and organizational culture on turnover. The study also examines the mediating role of affective commitment between job satisfaction and organizational culture with turnover intention. Data were collected from respondents working in the petroleum industry in Libya. The data were analyzed using AMOS. The findings indicated that the effect of organizational culture and job satisfaction on organizational commitment and turnover intention is significant. Affective commitment mediated the effect of job satisfaction and organizational culture on turnover intention.
