Predictors and Consequence of Project Success in UAE: A Model Development

Ahmed Ali Aldhuhoor

Abstract

Project success is critical for the economic growth of countries. The rate of project success in developing countries is lower than in developed nations. Based on the resource-based view, this study proposes that there are two critical determinants of project success which include the project characteristic (management support, employee commitment, training, and development) and project manager experience as a moderator. The project success is expected to affect the organizational performance of construction companies in UAE. Further testing of the proposed model will be conducted in future studies along with other variables and countries
